Just a quick note from San Antonio to say I had a fabulous hunt at the Y Bar, with Steven Mafrige. The facilities, food and operation are all first rate; personal service, with attention to detail. I can't say enough good things about how smoothly it all went. I got a very nice south Texas whitetail, a beautiful 10 pt, and scored well. But most importantly we hunted hard for him, using skill (Steve's, not mine) and patience; it was a hunt in the finest tradition of fair chase. I would highly recommend this hunt to clients that are looking for a "dream" south Texas fair chase hunt. And the hog hunting was much more fund than i thought. I can hardy wait to get that nice fat little pig home from the butcher! Thank you to you and the Cabelas staff for working with such a class operation.

I just wanted to tell you know what a great time we had at Y Bar this past weekend. We knew it was going to be a great weekend when we drove up and Brad was there to welcome us, & not 20mins later he had lunch cooking on the grill for us. Brad was great with us all weekend. He was there every step with us to help us and most of all to have fun with us. Brad took Rob & I out Saturday afternoon to just drive around the ranch. We talked and he answered all of our questions. You can tell Brad loves his job and takes pride in his work. He is a real asset to your ranch. The rest of your staff was wonderful as well. The food was great. Wade helped us sight in our rifles and Hector was a lot of fun as well. Hector & Brad helped us along with the quail hunting which we had never done before. We got 19 birds the 1st morning and almost 40 the next morning. By those #'s alone you can tell they helped us out a ton.
